Random Thought

I was watching the World Series of Poker tonight, and the announcer reported that one of the players was starting a cancer research charity in honour of his mother who had recently passed away. That's all nice, but it got me to thinking: I hear stories like this all the time. Wouldn't it be more efficient, and therefore better, if instead of having all these different charities promoting cancer research, if they would consolidate? I mean, maybe not everyone agrees with exactly the same methods, but I would think four or five would be plenty.
