I roll my eyes. A lot. Probably more than I should. (Notice the technically improper syntax used above... What profound message is the author trying to get across by this? (This is another place where I'd love to have the eye-rolling emoticon (As you can see, I like to use parentheses. A lot. (There he goes again with the use of fragments. (Okay, these last two were just to be slightly obnoxious))))) Anyway, when talking to people on-line - really text chatting with them, talking would be more a VOIP or webcam thing - I often want to express this sentiment, and generally I want to do it in emoticon form. The best I have right now is "*rolls eyes*", which really sorta fails for what I want it to do.
So, what characters should the *rolls eyes* emoticon be made up of?

Might I suggest 9_9 which I thought I'd seen before and when I searched I found it was already in Urban Dictionary for this purpose.
